Prevention is better than a Cure

Prevention: The Key To A Happy Healthy Life

If I told you that taking this one pill a day would change your life.  You would not only be healthy, you would have increased energy, look and feel you best and could lower your chance of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease?  How much would that be worth to you? A million dollars?

Instead of taking a pill, all you have to do to achieve health is to take control of your life.  You have the power to change your life by adopting a healthy lifestyle and diet.  You need to have the courage and confidence that you can do this.

The first step is to health is to eliminate processed foods and sugar and replace these with organic whole  foods.  Healthy eating is so important.  Whole unprocessed foods include organic vegetables, grass-fed meats, and nuts.  By eating this way you will prevent your exposure to GMOs, hormones and antibiotics which can make you ill, lower your resistance to disease, and increase your chance for cancer and autoimmune diseases.    You need to especially avoid added sugar.  There has been studies that have linked high sugar levels with not only diabetes but also cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

The second step is to keep your body moving.  Exercise at least 5 days a week.  The most efficient way to exercise is called the H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) method.  This involves intervals of a high intensity workout, followed by a rest there are several ways to accomplish this and can easily be done at home.

The third step is to decrease stress and have a positive attitude.  Stress play a major role in disease progression.  Decreasing stress can be accomplished by meditating , prayer, exercising, and having strong support groups.  You have to find what works best for you.

By doing these simple diet and lifestyle changes you can prevent disease and live a long happy healthy life.
